Antwerp-based Contour Lab raises €570,000 to expand its AI-driven digital stylist platform.
Antwerp fashiontech start-up Contour Lab has secured €570,000 from investors including industry veteran Mimi Lamote, entrepreneur Johan Van Genechten, and accelerator imec.istart, with additional backing from PMV. The funding will support further development of its AI-powered digital stylist software, designed to personalise shopping experiences and boost body positivity.
Founded by Christina Hadinoto and Ilias Mansouri, Contour Lab offers retailers a tool that provides tailored style advice based on body type and colour palette. Currently operating via an online questionnaire, the platform will soon add a chatbot and experiment with AI-driven camera technology. The system creates a personal “fashion passport” for each user, helping reduce sizing uncertainty and improving confidence.
Early clients include Belgian brands Marie Méro, SKM, and Mayerline, with more domestic and international retailers to follow. According to Contour Lab, the software cuts product returns by 17% and increases average purchase value by over 20%, while enabling retailers to optimise inventory and reduce overproduction.
The company, which currently employs four people plus freelancers, targets €500,000 in recurring annual revenue by the end of 2025.
