EyeCare Group, a market leader in premium optical and hearing solutions in the Netherlands and Belgium, has announced the acquisition of Belgian optical chain Vision Over Sight.
The deal, completed in May 2025, adds seven high-end optical stores across Flanders and Wallonia to EyeCare’s network, bringing its total number of outlets to over 160 in the Benelux region.
This marks EyeCare’s second major acquisition of the year, following the February purchase of Dutch players Schmidt Optiek, Metselaar Optiek, and Van Dijk Optiek.
The Vision Over Sight deal increases EyeCare’s Belgian footprint to fifteen locations, underscoring the group’s aggressive buy-and-build strategy in the upper segment of the optical market.
