Belgian broadcast technology company EVS has announced the acquisition of French firm XD motion, a specialist in aerial filming and multidimensional tracking. The deal, valued at over 3 million euros plus a potential earn-out, is set to close on October 1.
XD motion, founded in 2011, is known for its advanced camera systems used at major events such as the Olympic Games. The company generates around 4 million euros in annual revenue.
EVS said the acquisition strengthens its ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions that enhance live storytelling, reliability, and operational efficiency. The company expects the deal to contribute to its results from the fourth quarter of this year.
