Digital infrastructure provider Eurofiber has announced the acquisition of Arcadiz, a Belgian specialist in business-critical connectivity solutions.
The move aims to enhance Eurofiber’s ability to deliver robust, scalable network solutions while supporting its long-term European growth strategy.
Arcadiz, founded in 1999 and based in Leuven, serves large enterprises, government agencies, and utility companies across the Benelux with tailor-made connectivity services. The company employs 38 people and has been a trusted partner of Eurofiber, frequently leveraging its fiber-optic network.
Kris Warreyn, CEO of Arcadiz, emphasized that the acquisition allows the company to continue its growth alongside Eurofiber, benefiting from its extensive European network and expertise. “Our customers will gain access to top-tier connectivity and the advantages of a large-scale European operator,” he said.
Hans Witdouck, CEO of Eurofiber Belgium, highlighted the strategic importance of the acquisition. “Arcadiz excels in delivering customized, business-critical connectivity solutions. By joining forces, we strengthen our position in Belgium and beyond, expanding our expertise and supporting customers in their digital transformation.”
The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval in Belgium and is expected to be finalized in the first quarter of 2025.
