Euro Fresh Foods strengthens market position with acquisition of Dutch Konings-Zuivel.
Euro Fresh Foods, a leading supplier of dairy products and beverages across the Benelux, has announced the acquisition of Dutch dairy distributor Konings-Zuivel B.V.
The acquisition is part of a strategic move by Euro Fresh Foods and its parent company, Heylen Group, to bolster their presence in the European market.
Konings-Zuivel, a key player in dairy import and distribution in the Netherlands, is also known for its international distribution of premium FMCG brands across Europe. The acquisition will enable both companies to enhance operational efficiencies and leverage their combined market insights, while continuing to operate under their own names.

Boudewijn Meurs, currently Business Unit Director, will take over as CEO of Konings-Zuivel, focusing on operational efficiency and growth acceleration. Meanwhile, Otto Miltenburg will continue as co-CEO, leading business development and exploring new market opportunities.
The acquisition, subject to approval by the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets, is expected to be finalized by the end of 2024. This deal aims to further solidify Euro Fresh Foods' and Konings-Zuivel’s commitment to sustainable growth and innovation within the European dairy industry.
