Italian nuts and dried fruit producer Euro Company has announced that Belgian investment firm Korys has joined as a minority shareholder to support its international expansion.

Founded in 1979 in Emilia-Romagna, Euro Company has grown into a leading player in healthy, plant-based foods, with a portfolio ranging from traditional nuts to innovative fermented nut products.

As a certified B Corp and Benefit Corporation, the company integrates sustainability and social responsibility into its operations.

Korys, the family office of Belgium’s Colruyt family, invests in businesses aligned with its focus on conscious consumerism, healthy living, and energy transition. The partnership aims to strengthen Euro Company’s innovation, operational efficiency, and employee development while maintaining its core values.

“This collaboration represents an extraordinary opportunity to strengthen our international growth while preserving our values and company identity”, says Euro Company General Manager Maurizio Castagnoli.

Korys executives Dries Crevits and Katti Van Oosterwijck note that Euro Company’s sustainable approach “is perfectly aligned with our investment principles” as the global nuts and dried fruit sector continues to grow.

Euro Company closed the 2024/25 fiscal year with revenues of over 161 million euros, with almost full market coverage in Italy.
