ESC Group acquires SDP Retail and expands to France, Spain and Argentina.
The ESC Group strengthens its position as an expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and modern workplaces through the acquisition of SDP Retail.
SDP Retail's specialization in software and IT for the retail sector is a strong addition to the portfolio. This means that the ESC Group will also be active on the French market with additional support and development departments in Spain and Argentina.
After this acquisition, the group has more than 550 technology specialists and has passed the consolidated turnover mark of 100 million euros.
Investment company Capital A, active in Belgium and the Netherlands, previously took a majority stake in ESC. Strengthened by this additional capital and business expertise, they want to continue to meet the relentless demand for smart software and IT specialists through the ESC Group.
40 years of experience in retail
SDP Retail is known by both large and small retailers for its fast cash register and ERP software. This Belgian IT company has almost 40 years of experience on the Belgian market and has been active in France for more than 20 years, both with its own solutions and with Dynamics 365 Business Central from Microsoft.
Co-owner Luc De Cock is enthusiastic about this step for his company: “To guarantee continuity for our customers and to give our teams every opportunity for growth, SDP Retail will be included in the ESC Group. I am handing over the management to Jan Struyve, who will now use his years of experience with us in an even broader context.”

Earlier this year, GMI Group (Belgium), Logic Vision and DynamicHands (Netherlands) also joined the group. Together with other strong players such as Advisie, Net IT and now also SDP Retail, the ESC Group with more than 550 consultants is becoming the challenger in the European IT and business applications market.
The group's customers can now count on even deeper expertise. On the one hand in Microsoft technology such as Dynamics 365 CRM, Business Central, Copilot, Power BI, SharePoint and Microsoft 365. On the other hand in Exact ERP Business Software, own solutions and e-business, cybersecurity, IT management and AI.
