Craftzing expands capabilities with acquisition of AI studio Sagacify and service design pioneer Namahn.
Belgian digital consultancy Craftzing is significantly expanding its capabilities with the acquisition of Sagacify, a leading AI product studio, and Namahn, Belgium’s first and most established service design firm.
The move strengthens Craftzing’s ambition to become one of the few Belgian players able to deliver end-to-end digital transformation; from strategy and service design to product development, technology integration, and AI at scale.
Craftzing began talks with both companies in 2024, emphasizing alignment in philosophy rather than rapid expansion. CEO Roeland Tegenbos says the acquisitions add two critical strengths: systemic thinking and the ability to build production-ready AI. “We don’t want AI solutions that are merely functional; they must make sense within the complex reality of an organization.”
The additions come at a time when organizations across sectors – government, finance, energy, and multinational industries – are increasingly seeking partners capable of managing large-scale digital and organizational change. Craftzing highlights that most AI pilot projects fail because they lack strategic integration, making the combination of service design and applied AI more essential than ever.
Sagacify, based in Charleroi and Brussels, brings a team of 25 AI engineers with a decade of experience in computer vision, automation, agent-based workflows, and predictive modeling. Their mission-critical solutions span energy, finance, and logistics.
Namahn, founded in 1987, is widely respected for its systemic and service design expertise, working with clients such as the European Commission and Ghent University. The studio specializes in mapping organizational and technological complexity before solutions are built.
With Sagacify and Namahn now on board, Craftzing grows to more than 200 professionals, scaling not for prestige, the company says, but to meet a market demanding both strategic depth and consistent, high-quality execution in an AI-driven era.
