CubeCold Europe has strengthened its presence in the European cold storage market by acquiring Belgian cold storage and co-packaging specialist Sivafrost.
This acquisition expands CubeCold’s operations to seven facilities in Belgium and 19 across Europe.
Sivafrost, known for its advanced co-packaging services and CO₂-neutral automated warehouse, enhances CubeCold’s ability to offer full-service logistics solutions. “By integrating Sivafrost, we are improving our storage and packaging capacity while providing fully integrated services to customers”, said Michael Meyers, Managing Director of CubeCold Benelux.
The Siongers family, which founded Sivafrost in 1986, sees this move as a step towards further professionalization and growth while maintaining family values. Founder Simone Van Asten states that joining CubeCold will enable Sivafrost to scale and innovate further.
CubeCold continues to expand across Europe, with a portfolio of 400,000 pallet spaces, focusing on ports and logistics hubs to support its rapid growth.
