Belgian SMEs to benefit from Altares Dun & Bradstreet’s acquisition of Companyweb.
Belgian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are set to gain enhanced business and credit information services following Altares Dun & Bradstreet’s acquisition of Companyweb, a leading Belgian provider of financial insights.
Altares, a market leader in business data in the Benelux and France, aims to strengthen its presence in the region and better serve Belgium’s SME segment.
Companyweb, known for its high-quality financial insights, supports thousands of Belgian clients. Under the terms of the acquisition, the current management team, led by Ilse Getteman and Pieter Van de Wiele, will remain in place, and the Companyweb brand will continue to operate independently.
The transaction, supported by private equity partner Naxicap Partners, is expected to close by March 2025. Financial details remain confidential.
