The Fashion Store plans to launch a new Terre Bleue collection in the summer of 2025.
Colruyt Group has acquired the Belgian fashion brand Terre Bleue following the bankruptcy of its parent company, Duror Fashion Group.
The acquisition, made through Colruyt’s multi-brand retailer The Fashion Store, includes only the Terre Bleue brand and not its physical stores.
The Fashion Store had a long-standing partnership with Terre Bleue, frequently featuring the brand in its product range.
"We are very pleased to acquire Terre Bleue", says Mayke Nooteboom of The Fashion Store. "No other brand can replace the unique role Terre Bleue played in our assortment. We aim to remain true to the essence of Terre Bleue, maintaining its focus on refined simplicity, luxurious daily wear, and high-quality craftsmanship."
With this acquisition, all brands formerly owned by Duror Fashion Group have found new homes. Previously, Zilton was acquired by L&V Fashion, and Gigue was taken over by Castellino. The bankruptcy of Duror Fashion Group, which was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, rising costs, and economic instability, led to the sale of its assets to multiple buyers, ensuring the continuation of these beloved Belgian brands.
