Chaussea wants to take over half of the Belgian Bristol stores

French shoe chain Chaussea wants to buy 62 Belgian Bristol stores.

The French shoe chain Chaussea is interested in taking over just over half of the Belgian stores of budget chain Bristol.

Elise Vanaudenhove, CEO of Bristol, confirms this to Belang van Limburg.

No buyer was found for the stores in the Netherlands and Bristol was permanently declared bankrupt.

It is not known which stores are involved. It would certainly be a big step for the French chain on the Belgian market: it currently has 20 branches here.

Chaussea achieved a turnover of 545 million euros in 2022 and has 3,700 employees. The chain currently has about 20 stores in Belgium and would therefore significantly expand its presence in our country with the acquisition.
