Capone acquires fellow communications agency Revista

post-title

Belgian communications agency Capone has acquired sector peer Revista, marking a new growth step for the Kortrijk-based firm.

Managing partners Pieter Claerhout and Joke Verbeke are strengthening their focus on print communication, 9 years after founding Capone.

The acquisition reflects a broader revival of print in B2B communication. “We strongly believe in the power of print”, Claerhout and Verbeke say. “Taking a magazine or brochure in your hands and really taking the time to read remains a powerful experience. In B2B as well, print is regaining importance as a counterbalance to the speed and fleeting nature of digital communication.”

Founded in late 2016, Capone combines content and design, delivering end-to-end print projects ranging from member magazines and customer publications to annual reports, brochures and whitepapers. The agency handles concept development, interviews and copywriting, photography coordination, layout and print production.

Capone works for a wide range of companies and organisations, including Voka West Flanders, Vandelanotte, Embuild West Flanders and Matexi, often in long-term partnerships built on trust, clear planning and flexibility.

Revista’s founder Rosalien Eggermont decided to pursue a new direction, opening the door to the transaction. Capone is not aiming for growth in volume, but for deeper specialisation in magazines. Alongside an existing team member, a former Revista employee joins Capone as part of the deal.

Capone will remain based at the Veemarkt in Kortrijk and intends to stay a deliberately small, hands-on agency, with the founders closely involved in day-to-day client work.
