Brussels-based Superlinear raises 6 million euros to scale enterprise AI platform

post-title

Brussels AI company Superlinear has raised 6 million euros in a Series A funding round to accelerate the development of its AI Operating System, Holon.

The platform is designed to orchestrate people, processes and machines across large organisations, with the aim of delivering productivity gains of 10 to 30 per cent.

The funding round was fully secured by BDO, marking a strong vote of confidence from one of the world’s largest business advisory networks. The investment will be used to scale deployments of Holon across complex industrial environments.

Superlinear positions its technology as a response to Europe’s productivity slowdown. While AI adoption is increasing, the company argues that most solutions focus on isolated tasks rather than system-wide optimisation. Holon connects data, decision-making and physical operations in real time, enabling organisations such as ports, logistics networks, manufacturers and defence organisations to operate more efficiently.

Chief executive Davio Larnout says the ambition goes beyond software. Superlinear aims to help increase EU GDP by structurally improving enterprise productivity, starting with Europe’s largest companies. According to the company, early pilots show that double-digit productivity gains are achievable at enterprise level.

The Belgian connection is already strong. Superlinear is working with major industrial players including Port of Antwerp-Bruges, CNH and GSK, and plans to expand further across Europe from its Brussels base.

BDO France CEO Arnaud Naudan said the investment reflects a focus on “measurable returns rather than AI hype”, while Peter Van Laer, CEO of BDO Belgium, highlighted the importance of deploying AI as trusted, mission-critical infrastructure.

With fresh capital in place, Superlinear is positioning itself as a key Belgian player in Europe’s next wave of industrial AI.
