For GeoDynamics, the move represents an opportunity to scale its footprint in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Blinqx, a provider of cloud software solutions for SMEs, corporates, and service organizations, has announced its acquisition of GeoDynamics, a prominent Belgian software company specializing in innovative applications for HR, planning, and financial managers.
The deal, which marks a strategic move for both companies, sees Blinqx acquiring GeoDynamics from the IK Small Cap II Fund, managed by the pan-European private equity firm IK Partners.
Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Kortrijk, GeoDynamics serves over 3,500 clients across construction, service & installation, and cleaning sectors. Its software automates time tracking, activity registration, and payroll processes, helping managers save time and ensure regulatory compliance. Under the leadership of co-founders Stijn Stragier and Peter Vermeesch, the company has become a leader in Belgium while expanding its presence in the Netherlands.
Blinqx’s acquisition highlights its commitment to strengthening SaaS offerings for HR and finance managers across the Benelux region. GeoDynamics will continue to operate independently within Blinqx, with Stijn Stragier and Peter Vermeesch staying on as managing directors and becoming shareholders in Blinqx.
“The entrepreneurial spirit of Blinqx is evident in every interaction”, says Peter Vermeesch about the acquisition. “Together, we can bring groundbreaking features to market more quickly.”
Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
