Investor Main Capital Partners invests in Leuven software company RiskConcile.
Main Capital Partners announces the acquisition of a majority stake in RiskConcile, a leading Belgian software provider of compliance and risk management solutions for the financial sector.
This marks Main's first Belgian platform investment and fourth Belgian acquisition in total since the opening of the Antwerp office in September 2022.
RiskConcile was founded in 2015 by Jan De Spiegeleer and Karl Ottevaere and has quickly grown into a leading software developer of risk and regulatory solutions for the financial sector.
From its headquarters in Leuven, Belgium, RiskConcile serves an international customer base of more than 100 customers. The customer base consists of several leading asset managers, banks, fund managers, insurance companies and fund service providers, with the Benelux, the United Kingdom, Ireland and France as main markets.
RiskConcile's current management team will retain a significant minority stake and remain closely involved following the closing.
With Main's expertise in the growing B2B RegTech domain, the intended growth strategy will focus on further product innovation, international expansion and a customer-oriented approach. In addition, RiskConcile is well positioned as a starting point for an international buy-and-build strategy, aimed at acquiring complementary product functionalities and further expanding the international presence.
