post-title

QbD Group, a leading international life sciences consultancy, has announced the acquisition of Rescop, a specialist in GxP compliance, computer system validation (CSV), and validation software for the life sciences industry.

This strategic move strengthens QbD Group’s end-to-end service offerings, adds a proprietary software portfolio to its suite, and reinforces its presence in key markets, including the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Switzerland, and the US.

The acquisition aligns with QbD Group’s vision to provide comprehensive solutions across the life sciences sector. Bart Van Acker, CEO of QbD Group, highlighted the synergy between the two companies: "Rescop’s deep expertise in GxP compliance and computer system validation perfectly complements our existing strengths in regulatory affairs, clinical services, and validation consultancy. Together, we can deliver even more integrated, end-to-end solutions to our clients."

A standout addition to QbD Group’s portfolio is Rescop’s proprietary software, e-VLM, a tool designed for data-driven validation and paperless compliance, fully aligned with the FDA’s Computer Software Assurance (CSA) principles. This market-ready product expands QbD Group’s software capabilities and solidifies its position as a technology-driven partner in the life sciences industry.

For Rescop’s team of approximately 85 employees across the Netherlands, Poland, Lithuania, Turkey, and the US, the acquisition opens new opportunities for global projects and professional growth.

Björn Aalbers, Founder and CEO of Rescop, will take on the role of Managing Partner – Strategic Accounts and Country Manager Netherlands within QbD Group, ensuring continuity for clients and employees.
