The Belgian machinery manufacturer Sticomax has acquired the Dutch company FoodeQ Engineering, based in North Brabant.
FoodeQ specializes in specific (vibratory) transport and processing technology and operates on a global scale.
Sticomax has been active in the Netherlands for some time. Last August, the Belgian company acquired the machinery factory DutchTecSource from Nordian Capital Partners.
The Belgian manufacturer is backed by Vybros Capital Partners, a Belgian investment firm.
Conversely, FoodeQ is no stranger to Belgium, as it supplies components to the Westmalle Trappist brewery.
Following the deal, Sticomax's expected revenue will exceed €100 million. FoodeQ currently has a revenue of approximately €23 million. Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
