Belgian wealth manager Finhouse, founded by financial expert and former BCG consultant Thomas Guenter, has surpassed 100 million euros in assets under management just months after its launch.
The milestone was reached following a second fundraising round that brought in 45 million euros from investors, bringing the fund’s investor base to more than 600 Belgian participants.
According to the company, the pace makes Finhouse the largest Belgian private privak by number of investors. The firm aims to expand to 2,500 investors and 1 billion euros in assets over the coming years.
Finhouse operates as a fund of funds, pooling capital to provide access to international private equity and venture capital funds that are typically out of reach for smaller investors. Investments already disclosed include stakes in 6 Degrees (UK), byFounders (Denmark), and Stormbreaker (California, US). The company says it has also secured access to oversubscribed funds.
The largest holding in its current portfolio is Lovable, a Swedish software platform that has seen rapid growth.
Finhouse gained exposure through its investment in byFounders II. Shortly after Finhouse’s entry at a reported 2 billion dollars valuation, media reports suggested Lovable’s valuation had doubled to 4 billion dollars. The company claims Lovable’s growth in annual recurring revenue outpaces that of firms such as OpenAI, Slack, and Shopify in their early years.
Finhouse highlights three features it says distinguish its offering in the Belgian market:
Lower fees: management fees averaging 0.68 percent annually, charged on committed rather than invested capital.
Tax advantages: benefiting from Belgium’s private privak structure, which exempts investors from various taxes on gains.
Lower entry threshold: a minimum investment of 100,000 euros, compared with entry points often ten times higher in comparable products.
The firm has so far grown without any marketing spend but plans to launch a campaign to broaden its reach beyond the financial sector, where most of its investors are currently active.

In addition to private equity and venture capital, Finhouse plans to launch a listed equities fund later this year. The product will combine exchange-traded funds (ETFs) with small exposures to gold and bitcoin. Backtests suggest it has outperformed flagship equity funds of Belgium’s major banks by a few percentage points annually. Finhouse expects to raise about 100 million euros for this vehicle as well.
The company also intends to set up low-cost feeder funds next year, allowing investors to increase allocations to its highest-performing private equity and venture capital positions. By the end of next year, Finhouse targets at least 250 million euros under management.
