The move strengthens Dentius' position in the Netherlands and propels the group into the top three dental chains in the Benelux region, according to Belgian business newspaper De Tijd.

Belgian dental care group Dentius has acquired Dutch dental chain Puur Mondzorg from 5CS Capital Partners.

Puur Mondzorg operates 16 dental clinics across the Dutch province of Friesland. Although smaller in scale compared to Dentius – which has over 100 clinics across Belgium, France, and Germany – the acquisition significantly expands the Belgian group’s footprint in the Netherlands.

Dentius was already active in the Dutch market through its subsidiary NLTCO, which is based in Rotterdam. With this latest acquisition, the company continues its strategy of cross-border growth and consolidation within the European dental care sector.

5CS Capital Partners, a Dutch investment firm, had owned Puur Mondzorg since 2018. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
