BD Logistics, a Belgian leader in value-added logistics, has announced the acquisition of Dymar Transport.
Dymar is a Mechelen-based company with over 20 years of experience. This marks BD Logistics’ third acquisition in just two months, following earlier deals with Foodsprint and Top-Speed, as part of its ambitious growth strategy.
According to Kristof Gouvaerts, managing director of BD Logistics, the acquisition aligns perfectly with the company’s vision: “Dymar shares our commitment to flexibility and customer-centric solutions. This collaboration strengthens our position as a reliable and agile logistics partner in Belgium.”
Dymar founder Steven Mariën expressed confidence in the transition, emphasizing that shared values will ensure continuity in service for clients and smooth integration for employees. All 40 Dymar staff members will join BD Logistics.
The deal, facilitated by consultancy firm De Putter & Co, underscores BD Logistics’ strategy of combining organic growth with targeted acquisitions to expand its logistics network and enhance service offerings.
