Xerius expands services for the self-employed through the acquisition of OkiOki.
Xerius acquires the company behind OkiOki, an online tool that, among other things, automatically collects your purchase invoices in your mailbox and links them to payments. OkiOki started development in April 2019 based on concrete user needs and already has more than 7,000 entrepreneurs and 250 accountancy firms among its customers.
Xerius is a business counter and a social insurance fund for the self-employed and entrepreneurs.
Many self-employed people recognize a recurring frustration: several times a year you have to diligently look for the financial documents for your accounting. Invoices hiding in your overloaded mailbox or on portals don't make things any easier. OkiOki automatically collects all purchase invoices and ensures timely payments via a QR code.
This also includes the preparation and sending of sales invoices, as well as the follow-up of payments. This way, entrepreneurs are also paid on time. As a self-employed person, you have real-time insight into your cash flow via OkiOki; you should not wait for your accountant's quarterly processing.
Franky Haesevoets, managing director of Xerius: “Everyone who uses OkiOki is immediately enthusiastic: it saves you several hours per quarter and thus makes life easier for self-employed people and accountants. With the OkiOki solution, digitizing is a pleasure and you can be assured of a worry-free quarter. You have an accurate picture of your finances at all times.”
