SBB Accountants & Adviseurs has acquired Moors & Meekers, an accountancy firm based in Limburg.
This strategic move supports SBB’s growth plan, which combines organic development with targeted acquisitions. The firm focuses on integrating offices with 5 to 50 employees that align with SBB’s vision and mission, according to CEO Raf Dom.
Moors & Meekers serves around 250 clients, including SMEs, freelancers, and independent professionals, particularly in sectors such as construction, retail, and hospitality. Co-founder Hilde Moors emphasized the importance of offering tailored services and relieving clients of financial and fiscal burdens –values that resonate with SBB’s approach.
SBB positions itself as more than a traditional accountancy firm, offering a wide range of advisory services and digital tools to help businesses adapt to evolving regulations and technology. “Our goal is to enable smarter business decisions”, said Bart Nelissen, SBB’s Commercial Director.
For Moors & Meekers, the partnership with SBB means access to broader expertise and enhanced digital support, critical for tackling challenges like e-invoicing and government platforms. “SBB shares our values and respects our clients and team”, noted co-founder Michel Meekers.
The collaboration is poised to benefit both firms, combining Moors & Meekers’ local expertise with SBB’s extensive resources to better serve the Limburg business community.
