Dutch software provider Anchr has acquired Praclox, an IT company that develops software solutions for bailiffs and debt collection agencies in Gorinchem. With the deal, Anchr strengthens its position in the niche market for legal-administrative software.
Anchr originated from the Belgian AXI Group following a corporate split, after which the software arm continued as AXI Software. The company rebranded to Anchr last year. Since Belgian investor Strada Partners acquired a majority stake in 2022, Anchr has been on an active buy-and-build path, adding five companies to its portfolio: Tilroy, Contractify, InterIT, ITP Group and Datalink.
The acquisition of Praclox marks the next step in this strategy. Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
