Munich-based SaaS company Tanso has secured a 12 million euros Series A round, led by henQ and Belgian investor Fortino Capital, with continued support from Capnamic and UVC Partners.
Founded in 2021, Tanso develops AI-driven software that helps manufacturing companies manage environmental compliance and sustainability reporting in line with EU regulations such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
The platform integrates with enterprise systems to centralize data management, track decarbonization initiatives, and reduce compliance costs.
The company’s solutions are already used by over 300 clients in 40+ countries, including Kärcher, Duravit, the Paulaner Group, and Goldbeck. Case studies highlight cost savings and compliance improvements, such as Crespel & Deiters cutting sustainability costs by 75 percent.
With the fresh capital, Tanso plans to double its workforce to 100+, expand internationally, and roll out new modules for supply chain, compliance, and risk management.
“This funding is a major milestone for us”, says co-founder and CEO Till Wiechmann. “We aim to build the most user-friendly and widely used solution on the market.”
