Esprit ICT has acquired local specialist in integrated health tech and access control, Act with Care.
By joining forces with Act with Care, the Dutch ICT company continues its growth into Belgium’s healthcare technology market – a year after first entering the country through its acquisition of Televic Healthcare Solutions.
Both deals form part of Esprit ICT’s strategy to expand its footprint in critical alarm systems across the Benelux region. CEO Maarten de Roos explains: “The Act With Care team is a wonderful addition to our operations in the Belgian healthcare sector. Founded in 2008, Act with Care has grown into a leading health tech player in the Belgian market over almost a decade. The vendor-independent company provides vital solutions to home care providers, healthcare facilities and local governments.
Following the acquisition, Act with Care will continue to operate under its own name and the trusted leadership of its current management and executive teams, including co-owners and -CEOs Luc Brouckaert and Frederik Vandenheede. “By collaborating with our new colleagues, we can devise even better solutions for our clients and offer our employees new opportunities to further develop themselves as part of a larger organisation,” Luc elaborates.
