Dutch ICT integrator Esprit ICT has acquired Belgian healthcare ICT specialist Televic Healthcare Solutions. The deal marks Esprit’s first international move and strengthens its presence in the Benelux healthcare technology market.
Esprit ICT, a Dutch provider of digital workplace and healthcare alarm solutions, has acquired Belgian-based Televic Healthcare Solutions NV. The acquisition, effective immediately, marks Esprit’s first step outside the Netherlands and aligns with its strategy to expand its footprint in critical alarm systems across the Benelux region.
Televic Healthcare Solutions is a major ICT integrator in the Belgian healthcare sector. By combining technological expertise and market access, the two companies aim to deliver integrated and scalable solutions to healthcare providers in both Belgium and the Netherlands.
The acquisition does not include Televic Healthcare Products, the business unit responsible for developing and manufacturing nurse call systems. That division remains under the Televic Group, which will focus on further international growth via a reseller network. However, both entities will continue to collaborate on product innovation.
Esprit ICT Managing Director Martijn Boshuis called the acquisition “a strategically valuable addition” and highlighted the cultural and technological synergy between the companies. Televic CEO Thomas Verstraeten said the move allows both parties to sharpen their core focus: ICT integration for Esprit and product innovation for Televic.
Esprit ICT operates across healthcare, industry, government, and corporate sectors, specializing in critical communication and alarm systems. The deal boosts its market access and service portfolio in the increasingly digitalized Belgian healthcare landscape.
