Accuro acquired by Van Lanschot Kempen

The Dutch Van Lanschot Kempen is making another acquisition in Belgium.

Van Lanschot Kempen acquires the Belgian investment advisor Accuro. Accuro, founded in 2006, has 700 million euros in assets under management. Belgium is Van Lanschot Kempen's second home market.

The deal with Accuro is the second acquisition of Van Lanschot Kempen in Belgium. The company previously took over the wealth manager Mercier Vanderlinden.

From January 1, 2024, Mercier Van Lanschot will be the new name for the combination of Mercier Vanderlinden and Van Lanschot Belgium. After completion of the acquisition, Accuro will be fully integrated within Mercier Van Lanschot from early 2025. The founders of Accuro will remain affiliated with Mercier Van Lanschot until at least 2030.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approval. For the takeover, Van Lanschot Kempen will pay sixty percent in cash and forty percent in shares with a lock-up until 2030. How much Van Lanschot Kempen will pay for Accuro has not been disclosed.
