ABO Group Environment has acquired Délo Boringen, a Belgian specialist in environmental drilling and sampling. With this acquisition, ABO Group strengthens its expertise in soil investigation and environmental sampling.
Délo Boringen, which specializes in manual and mechanical drilling, undisturbed sampling, and demolition follow-up (Tracimat), will continue to operate under the leadership of its founder, Karel Van Reeth. He will remain part of the management team to ensure continuity.
Van Reeth sees the acquisition as an opportunity to develop innovative drilling techniques with the support of a larger company. ABO Group CEO Frank De Palmenaer emphasizes that Délo Boringen will maintain its family-run identity, with 30 percent of the shares remaining in the hands of the original shareholders.
The acquisition is expected to be finalized in the second quarter of this year.
