3ES has strengthened its regional footprint in West Flanders through the acquisition of Kortrijk-based 3D measurement firm NX2.
The deal, facilitated by Movimento – the Limburg technology group that includes 3ES – marks a strategic move to enhance national coverage in 3D surveying and digital measurement solutions.
NX2, known for its expertise in 3D scanning and measurement for architecture, industry, and renovation projects, will now operate as ‘NX2, a company of Movimento’, collaborating closely with 3ES.
The integration of NX2 expands 3ES’s operational reach, adding a West Flanders base to its existing locations in Bilzen-Hoeselt, Ghent, Leuven, and Antwerp.
Clients can expect increased operational capacity, faster response times, and access to broader technological expertise, while the focus remains on delivering precise measurement data and reliable project support. The combined strengths of NX2 and 3ES aim to bolster service quality across sectors like architecture, industry, and renovation.
This acquisition aligns with Movimento’s growth strategy, emphasizing technology, digitalization, and scalability. Marc Heylen, Managing Director of 3ES and Movimento board member, described the move as a “logical step” in their expansion plans.
Looking ahead, the group is also exploring international opportunities to further develop its expertise in digital measurement and modeling.
