Six Belgian companies unite under new name ‘Argona’ to drive sustainable energy and construction solutions. Private equity house Waterland backs the newly formed company.
Six leading Belgian companies specializing in sustainable energy and construction have merged under a new name: Argona. This newly formed group aims to support businesses, governments, and individuals across Belgium in their transition to energy-efficient buildings and infrastructure.
The founding companies – Eco Technics, Team Green, EG-elec, ADW, Adidak, and Aditoit –have worked together for years and now formalize their partnership. Their combined expertise covers solar panel systems, battery storage, flat roof construction and renovation, and industrial electrical installations. Together, they offer clients a single point of contact for the entire sustainability journey, from analysis and design to installation and maintenance.
Investment firm Waterland Private Equity backs Argona as a strategic growth partner, sharing the ambition of becoming a major player in Belgium’s energy transition.
With seven branches across the country and over 190 employees, Argona serves both the Flemish and Walloon markets. A new Walloon division based near Aditoit further strengthens their presence in southern Belgium.
The group’s track record is already impressive: more than 520,000 solar panels installed, 10 million square meters of industrial roofing completed, and over 250,000 m² of relighting projects delivered. Clients include major names such as Delhaize, LIDL, Telenet, and Janssen Pharmaceutica.
By integrating services under one roof, Argona aims to simplify the path to sustainability for its clients while contributing to a greener future – generating over 190,000 MWh of green energy annually and reducing CO₂ emissions by 67,000 tons each year.
