Visiblie raises €500,000 in recent funding round

Belgian start-up Visiblie has raised €500,000 through a convertible loan funding round that includes investors such as Seeder Fund, BeAngels and technology entrepreneur Steven Tielemans.

The proceeds of Visiblie’s latest funding round will be used to support growth in the SME market, while accelerating the company’s international expansion simultaneously. “We want Visiblie to be the foundational layer for AI search visibility,” co-founder Gilles Praet has said.

Brussels VC, Seeder Fund, led the round. Steven Tielemans, who was also part of the funding round, will join Visiblie as a board advisor. “More than 60% of product discovery already happens outside traditional search engines,” Gilles noted in an interview Medium. “People are asking ChatGPT, Google AI, TikTok, Reddit, and soon thousands of AI agents. If customers are searching there, your brand needs to show up there.”

Together with Domien van Damme, Gilles developed a platform that combines a proprietary six-phase AI visibility framework with an agent that can implement recommendations under human supervision. This technology helps businesses understand and improve how they appear in AI-generated search results.

Today, it serves hundreds of users across Belgium, the Middle East, Mexico, Australia and Singapore. The company has also partnered with agencies in several international markets, including Rhyme Solutions in Mexico, e-web marketing in Australia and Multiverse Partners in Singapore. Furthermore, it recently signed an agreement with PwC focused on regulated sectors, such as financial services and insurance, and the Flanders Investment & Trade has previously backed the startup with an export subsidy toward Saudi Arabia.

But its industry-specific data sets is what differentiates the platform from conventional AI visibility tools. “An insurer plays by different rules than a SaaS company because of compliance, regulation and specialist language. We build that sector knowledge into our model,” Gilles explained.

Following the success of this first round, Visiblie envisions a future seed funding round to support its expansion into the US.
