VD Pro Group, a fast-growing player in the technical trade sector, is set to accelerate its expansion with the investment of Vectis Private Equity.
At the same time, the company strengthens its market position with the acquisition of All Tools in Londerzeel, reinforcing its presence in the Ghent-Brussels-Antwerp region.
Strategic expansion and acquisition
Headquartered in Vlierzele, Belgium, VD Pro Group specializes in professional tools, fastening materials, workwear, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Under the leadership of co-CEOs Tom Van Wassenhove and Kristof Versluys, the company has grown rapidly through multiple acquisitions, reaching a 30 million euros turnover with a team of 75 employees.
With the investment from Vectis Private Equity’s fourth fund, VD Pro Group secures additional financial and strategic support to drive further acquisitions and geographical expansion in Belgium. "Our strategy is centered on offering professionals a wide range of products, competitive pricing, and top-tier service", says Kristof Versluys.
Vectis strengthens its portfolio
Vectis Private Equity, known for its expertise in wholesale and distribution investments, sees strong potential in VD Pro Group. "Tom and Kristof have built an impressive growth story in a consolidating market", says Maxime Maertens and Stefaan Vanquaethem of Vectis. "We are excited to support their next phase of expansion, leveraging our experience with similar investments."
Future outlook
Alongside the investment, the acquisition of All Tools in Londerzeel will enhance VD Pro Group’s reach and product portfolio. "With Vectis’s backing, we can accelerate our consolidation strategy", adds Tom Van Wassenhove.
With its nine physical locations, a strong online presence, and growing market share, VD Pro Group is well-positioned to strengthen its leadership in the Belgian technical trade sector.
