Transport company H.Essers makes a French takeover

The transport giant H.Essers is taking over its French sector colleague TFMO.

TFMO, which stands for Transports Frigorifiques des Monts d'Or, is a specialist in temperature-controlled transport and is based in Lissieu, eastern France. The company employs 190 people, of whom 170 are drivers. The fleet consists of about 150 trucks.

H.Essers is a family-owned business with its headoffice in Genk that has helps clients optimize their supply chains. Today the focus of the company is on developing and implementing best-in-class sustainable transport, logistics and warehousing solutions.

Financial details of the transaction were not reported.
