PB Leiner, a business unit of Tessenderlo Group specializing in bio-valorization, has completed the acquisition of the remaining 40 percent minority stake in PB Brasil Indústria e Comércio de Gelatinas Ltda from D&D Participações Societárias.
This transaction grants Tessenderlo Group 100 percent ownership of the Brazilian subsidiary, which operates a beef hide gelatin production plant in Acorizal, Mato Grosso. The deal is not expected to have a material impact on the group’s financial results.
Additionally, Tessenderlo Kerley International finalized the Asset Transfer Agreement announced on March 20, 2026, acquiring a sulphate of potassium (SOP) production plant in Sweden from Cinis Fertilizer AB.
The plant, designed to produce environmentally friendly mineral fertilizers for sustainable agriculture, will be integrated into Tessenderlo Kerley International’s Agro segment. Like the Brazilian acquisition, this transaction is not anticipated to significantly affect the group’s financial performance.
Tessenderlo Group, headquartered in Belgium, operates in over 100 countries with a workforce of approximately 7,000 employees. In 2025, the group reported a consolidated revenue of 2.8 billion euros.
