RiskConcile expands European RegTech footprint with acquisition of France’s B4Finance

Belgian RegTech provider RiskConcile has strengthened its European platform with the acquisition of B4Finance, a Paris-based specialist in digital investor onboarding and fund-subscription software.

The deal marks the company’s second add-on since partnering with Main Capital Partners in June 2024, underscoring its ongoing buy-and-build strategy across Europe.

Founded in 2018, B4Finance has built a solid presence in the French alternative funds market. Its cloud platform automates investor onboarding and compliance workflows –including KYC/AML checks, risk assessments and registration – and offers a digital subscription module that manages the full investment lifecycle. The company serves nearly 80 clients, primarily French private-equity managers and wealth managers.

By integrating B4Finance, RiskConcile broadens its offering beyond regulatory reporting, risk calculations and fund data services, adding front-end onboarding and subscription capabilities to its suite. Following the earlier acquisition of London-based Fitz Partners, the deal also gives RiskConcile a reinforced local foothold in Paris, one of Europe’s key fund centres.

RiskConcile CEO Jan De Spiegeleer said the acquisition creates “a truly integrated European solution” for asset managers seeking to streamline regulatory and operational processes. B4Finance founder and CEO Gabriela Paciu highlighted the shared ambition to simplify compliance complexity and accelerate growth both in France and internationally.

According to Jorn de Ruijter, Investment Director at Main Capital Partners, the transaction represents “another important step” in building a pan-European leader in compliance and management software for the fund industry.
