Capricorn Partners, MGFO and others invest €20 million in a Series C funding round for Endo Tools Therapeutics.
Endo Tools Therapeutics (ETT) closed the funding round on 16 July 2026, welcoming the support of Capricorn Partners (via the Capricorn Healthtech Fund II), MGFO and existing investors.
According to the medtech company, €20 million will go towards the commercialisation of its endomina® platform and collecting the clinical evidence necessary for a United States weight loss marketing indication.
“With the recent FDA clearance of the endomina® EZFuse system, we are introducing a next-generation solution designed to simplify workflow, improve efficiency, and enhance the physician experience. This funding will allow us to build on that momentum, drive adoption, and continue to collect the data needed to support broader clinical applications,” says ETT CEO Alexandre Chau.
Endo Tools lets doctors treat obesity and other gastrointestinal conditions through a minimally invasive procedure instead of open surgery. Its endomina® platform attaches to a standard endoscope, letting physicians stitch and reshape tissue from inside the stomach, through the mouth, with no incisions needed. It is still the only tool of its kind to offer patients with Class I and II obesity a minimally invasive alternative to chronic GLP-1 therapy, or as part of a combined treatment approach.
The newly cleared endomina® EZFuse system builds on this foundation with a more intuitive design and a single-movement suturing mechanism. It is designed to reduce operational burdens, minimise user fatigue and improve procedural consistency, helping hospitals and ambulatory surgery centres optimise resource utilisation and expand procedural capacity.
Investment partner Filip Pintelon (pictured) explains that Capricorn Partners is excited to support ETT at this pivotal stage, adding that the recent FDA clearance, combined with strong clinical experience and a clear strategy for US expansion, positions the company very well “to transform gastrointestinal care with minimally invasive endoscopic solutions”.
The Capricorn Healthtech Fund II saw its first close back in January 2025, when it had raised €51 million.
