The Amsterdam-based investor IceLake Capital is acquiring a majority stake in Studibo.
Studibo is a Belgian network of engineering firms. This marks IceLake's first acquisition in Belgium. The existing shareholders of Studibo will remain on board.
Studibo is only a few years old. The company brings together eleven engineering and research firms.
Before the deal, the shareholders included the Ghent-based investor Tilleghem, a Belgian entrepreneur, and the owners of the participating firms. The plan is for Studibo to embark on an acquisition spree following the deal.
Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
