post-title

EyeCare Group has strengthened its presence in Belgium through the acquisition of three OPTIL optical stores in Brussels, marking its first entry into the capital. With this transaction, the fast-growing optical and hearing care group increases its Belgian network to 19 locations.

Founded over 40 years ago, OPTIL is a well-established player in the Belgian optical market, known for its independent positioning and comprehensive offering of eyewear, lenses, contact lenses and accessories. The acquisition aligns with EyeCare Group’s strategy of sustainable growth and further consolidation of its Belgian platform.

According to former owners Ignace and Vincent Labeeuw, customers will continue to be served by the same teams, with unchanged levels of personal service and quality. Joining EyeCare Group enables OPTIL to secure continuity while investing in the long-term development of its stores.

EyeCare Group CEO Niels Onkenhout highlighted the strategic fit, citing shared values around customer focus and high-quality, personalized care, and welcomed the opportunity to introduce EyeCare’s approach to customers in Brussels.
