Cascador Health and moveUP merge to form digital health leader

post-title

Cascador Health and moveUP have officially merged to create Cascador/moveUP, a new force in digital health.

The combined company, backed by a 6 million euros investment from existing shareholders, already serves 8 of the top 10 global pharmaceutical firms – including AstraZeneca, Sanofi, UCB, and ArgenX – and supports over 100,000 patients worldwide.

With a team of 35 specialists based in Brussels and Ghent, the merger aims to consolidate the fragmented digital health market and expand into new therapeutic areas and geographies.

The new entity offers an end-to-end digital health platform, addressing the full therapy lifecycle – from clinical trials and real-world data collection to patient support and remote monitoring.

Unlike many vendors that focus on isolated stages of the patient journey, Cascador/moveUP provides a unified data architecture, eliminating fragmentation and enabling seamless, data-driven healthcare. Its solutions are already deployed in areas such as epilepsy, orthopedics, respiratory immunology, and rare diseases.

CEO Philip Taillieu emphasizes the strategic importance of the merger: "Critical mass is essential to earn the trust of life sciences companies and deliver sustainable impact. Together, we can scale our expertise, unlock new opportunities, and pursue international M&A to consolidate this market."

The company maintains strong compliance credentials, including EU MDR Class IIa certifications and ISO standards, ensuring it meets the rigorous demands of global healthcare partners.

Cascador/moveUP’s leadership team, comprising executives from both organizations, will drive the company’s mission: unlocking the value of health data to deliver precision care. With backing from investors like Qbic, Ethias Ventures, and Volta Ventures, the merged entity is poised to accelerate its European expansion and redefine digital health through integrated, data-powered solutions.
