Building Technology Group, a fast-growing provider of integrated building installation services in Belgium, has acquired Vrints, an HVAC and plumbing installer based in Brecht.
The deal marks another step in the group’s expansion strategy as it continues to scale through a mix of organic growth and targeted acquisitions.
Over the past few years, Building Technology has developed into a major player in the Belgian installations market, employing more than 350 people and generating consolidated revenue of around 100 million euros.
The addition of Vrints strengthens the group’s position as a one-stop partner for building technologies, covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, security, automation, energy, and sustainable solutions.
Founded more than 20 years ago, Vrints employs 17 people and has built a strong regional reputation. The entire team, including its management, will remain in place to ensure continuity and maintain service quality.
The acquisition comes amid rapid changes in the installations sector, driven by the energy transition, stricter sustainability requirements, and rising demand for smart, integrated building solutions. Building Technology said the transaction enhances its technical capabilities while supporting investments in innovation, digitalization, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
“This step feels like a logical and ambitious next phase in our story”, says managing director Jeroen Vrints, noting that joining the group will provide additional scale and support while preserving the company’s identity and local roots.
CEO Luc Ost adds that Vrints brings strong expertise and a solid reputation. “Together we expand our technical offering, regional presence, and capacity to fully support customers in complex projects”, he says.
Building Technology was launched in 2021 in partnership with Vectis Private Equity, a collaboration that has helped accelerate growth and drive multiple acquisitions. The group also brings together companies including ETI Vandenven, Siegers Technics, Clima & Partners, Entek, Failsafe, Watchguard Security, and Cobra Technology.
