Brand Revolution continues buying spree in Belgium

post-title

Brand Revolution has acquired DDMC Event Design & Alice Events, marking its fourth major acquisition in two years.

The global marketing and merch agency, Brand Revolution, has been busy expanding its EMEA presence since early 2025, when it acquired Brilliant, a UK-based social-first creative agency that has worked with brands like Fox’s Biscuits, Thorntons, SPAM®, and SKIPPY® Peanut Butter. “Brilliant has built a reputation for crafting powerful, conversation-driving content, and their approach to social strategy aligns seamlessly with our mission: to create bold, emotionally resonant campaigns that connect brands with audiences in a meaningful way,” Brand Revolution CEO Alisa Walsh Haynes said at the time.

With a highly talented creative team, Brilliant has built a reputation for forging more personal, collaborative partnerships, an ethos that perfectly complements Brand Revolution’s commitment to Return on Emotion®, its proprietary approach to measuring brand impact.

“Brand Revolution shares our values and creative standards, making it a strong cultural fit,” said Managing Director Mike Davis. “Their proven global scale [also] means greater strategic breadth for our clients and broader opportunities for our team as part of the larger international group.”

Later that year, the business also acquired Lumenati, an Emmy Award-winning US-based creative studio that has developed a cult following for its distinctive visual style, branded films, and culture-forward content. Their work has spanned from national campaigns to community-led narratives. “We’re pumped to join forces with Brand Revolution. They share our drive for bold, unfiltered creativity. Together, we’ll craft work that hits hard and sets the standard for a future-focused agency,” commented Scott McDonald, Founder of Lumenati.

Brand Revolution enters Asia
In March 2026, Brand Revolution also announced that fresh id would be merging with the company, enhancing its custom merch, POS, packaging, and global sourcing capabilities. “I believe every piece we create is more than just an item; it’s a result of trust, teamwork, and care for the world around us,” shared Sebastian Fiedler, founder of fresh id.

“Joining Brand Revolution lets us keep growing our ideas and values, now with a partner who shares our passion for doing things the right way,” added fresh id’s other founder, Marc Huff

With fresh id’s offices in Germany and Hong Kong, the acquisition served as the stepping stone Brand Revolution needed to enter those markets. The company also gained closer proximity to manufacturing partners across Asia, enabling greater control over supplier selection, quality assurance, compliance and production timelines. This local sourcing infrastructure allows Brand Revolution to streamline operations, unlock cost efficiencies and accelerate speed-to-market.

“We are building one of the largest in-house overseas custom product development and sourcing capabilities in the industry…” said Alisa. “[These moves] bring us closer to our ultimate goal of being a truly globally connected marketing agency — bringing world-class expertise together under one roof.”

The Brand Revolution expansion reaches Belgium
Now the fourth acquisition in Brand Revolution’s buying spree, DDMC Event Design brings large-scale event experience to the business as well. Founded in Brussels, the events company operates throughout the EMEA region. They have been responsible for several global, well-known events, including the American birthday party in Jubelpark recently.

“We have acquired profound know-how in the event business for more than 35 years,” explains DDMC Event Design managing partner Frank Anthierens. “We have the creativity and the skills to produce premium events all over Europe and beyond…”

Like Brand Revolution, DDMC Event Design plans to use the new partnership to bolster its international development. “For years, we have felt that we were outgrowing our shell. We are ready for new challenges,” added other managing partner, Stefan Ponnet.

Owner Alex Cautaerts also commented: “We already have several international customers. With Brand Revolution's support, we can now also serve them overseas.”

With a global team of 200+ experts across five continents, Brand Revolution specialises in strategic ideation, creative design, video production, event execution, and innovative merchandise programs. “The fact that our new partners share the same values and passion for the job gives us full confidence in a bright future,” said Nathalie Rasschaert, another DDMC Event Design managing partner.

The DDMC team will remain based in Brussels, providing Brand Revolution access to the Belgian market. All client relationships, team members, and active projects will continue uninterrupted.

“We can’t wait to start learning from each other and delivering even greater value to our clients,” commented Alisa. “Together, we’re going to push creative boundaries, elevate our storytelling, and deliver Return on Emotion® at an entirely new level.”
