Faceland, a chain of plastic surgery clinics in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland, is being acquired by the Belgian investment company Verlinvest. After the deal, Faceland hopes to be able to expand further within the fast-growing European cosmetic medicine market.
Faceland was founded in 2013 and performs more than 130,000 treatments annually in its four core markets. More than twenty clinics have opened since 2020. The company has 31 clinics in the Benelux. Over the past twelve months, turnover has grown by more than 25 percent to approximately 40 million euro.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction will be subject to approval from the relevant regulatory authorities and stakeholders. It is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023.
