The total investment amounts to 435 million euros.

The Dutch consultancy firm TMC is receiving a significant additional investment of 435 million euros from the Belgian private equity company Apheon. TMC’s management team will also invest in their organization.

Apheon raised this sum through a fund aimed at further investments (Apheon TMC HDC Long Term Value Fund SCSp), which will also be used to deepen its stake in the French company Haudecoeur, a specialist in ethnic foods. Apheon has a particular interest in companies that are essential to Europe’s industrial competitiveness.

The investment in this special fund was led by HarbourVest Partners as the primary investor, with additional support from existing Apheon investors.

TMC, founded in 2000, operates in international technology and R&D consultancy. The company has an annual revenue of approximately 275 million euros. Earlier this year, TMC acquired two German companies: Guldberg, an IT and engineering services provider, and Personites, a managed service provider for external personnel.
