The Belgian asset manager takes over Box Consultants.
Belgian asset manager Delen takes over Box Consultants, a Dutch family office with a very wealthy clientele. As a result of the acquisition, Delen Nederland will more than double its assets under management, the group announced.
Delen has already acquired several asset managers in the Netherlands. The acquisition of Oyens & Van Eeghen in 2016 is the most striking. As far as the Belgian Frederik Baert, general manager at Delen, is concerned, there are still plenty of opportunities on the Dutch market. “The race is over in Belgium. The consolidation has already taken place there.”
Delen has almost 1.2 billion euros available for further acquisitions. Not only in the Netherlands, but also in other countries. France seems to be the most logical choice. The institution is supported in this by its major shareholder, the listed Ackermans & van Haaren. The private bank is already active in the Luxembourg, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
