New intern brings broad curiosity to Strada Partners

An enthusiastic hiker and avid traveller with a keen interest in wellness, geopolitical developments and analytics, Thibault Bosch brings a broad sense of curiosity to the Strada Partners private equity team as its most recent intern.

“We’re delighted to have Thibault on board and look forward to what he’ll bring to the team,” the company said in a statement.

Originally hailing from Leuven and now based in Antwerp, he joins the firm to support buy-side analysis, deal execution and portfolio monitoring, gaining hands-on deal experience in M&A.

Not his first foray into M&A

Prior to joining Strada, Thibault gained valuable exposure to both sides of the transaction desk – independent corporate finance advisory and lower-mid-market private equity investment – through internships at Kumulus Partners, Sofindev Private Equity Partners and Gimv.

During his corporate finance internship at Kumulus Partners (one of Belgium’s prominent independent M&A boutiques), he gained valuable exposure to sell-side and buy-side deal execution, market mapping and financial modelling.

Expanding his scope to include buy-and-build strategies, he served as a private equity intern at Sofindev. His time at the firm sharpened his focus on direct investing, evaluating mid-market growth opportunities and assessing value-creation drivers across Belgian businesses.

Between April and June 2025, Thibault completed a specialised three-month private equity internship at Gimv in Antwerp. As part of his Vlerick Business School In-Company Project, he conducted targeted research into the application of artificial intelligence within private equity investment processes, exploring how AI tools can enhance deal sourcing, thesis generation, and due diligence workflow.

Early leadership development

Long before stepping onto the deal floor, Thibault demonstrated an interest in financial markets, macroeconomics and fundamental equity analysis. He started his career as a strategy consultant on a 10-week project via Academics For Companies (AFC), focusing on assessing the market potential of augmented reality (AR) visualisation in oncology surgery.

He conducted market research, provided product development insights and presented strategic recommendations directly to company stakeholders. “The experience allowed me to develop valuable skills in project management, problem-solving and collaboration,” he notes.

Thibault’s drive for corporate strategy developed further at AFT Leuven, where he stepped into the role of business relations, responsible for building and managing the organisation’s corporate partner portfolio. “My summer mainly consisted of getting into contact with a huge variety of companies, holding meetings in order to build up a partner portfolio,” he shares.

For two and a half years after that, he served as an active member and investor at Greenhill Capital Belgium, a student-run investment club focused on collaborative exploration of capital markets and hands-on equity research. He also completed an in-depth workshop series on global megatrends and their financial implications, exploring critical economic forces.

Later, he returned to AFC, where he worked as a project organiser.

This broad exposure to leadership and deal mechanics, combined with his master’s degrees in financial management (Vlerick Business School) and in business engineering (KU Leuven), has laid a strong foundation for Thibault’s strategic investment abilities.
