Benjamin Hillen’s first career move, to Heylen Group

Benjamin Hillen joins Heylen Group after seven years at Deloitte. “I am looking forward to this new adventure with great enthusiasm!” he says, excited to spread his wings to the second company since the start of his career.

After obtaining a master’s degree in business economics from KU Leuven, Benjamin began his career as an M&A intern at Deloitte Belgium in April 2019 and joined the M&A corporate finance team later that year as a business analyst. In 2021, he was promoted to M&A corporate finance advisory consultant, and in 2023 again, to senior consultant.

“It is with great gratitude that I look back on my time within Deloitte’s excellent corporate finance team – extremely proud of what we have built together,” Benjamin comments.

Prior to Heylen Group, he was an M&A corporate finance advisory manager.

“Benjamin has built up years of experience in M&A and corporate finance advisory, with a focus on valuations, financial modelling and the supervision of acquisitions,” Heylen Group states. “With us, he translates that experience into what we prefer to do: investing in what works, and turning it into something sustainable.”
