Bart Schenk joins Kartesia as Head of Belgium and the Netherlands

Bart’s arrival represents a significant opportunity for Kartesia to strengthen its local footprint, deepen sponsor relationships, and accelerate origination in two of our most strategically important markets. Bart Schenk will work closely with the Heads of our other European regions to foster cross-border collaboration. 

Bringing more than a decade of experience in private debt and corporate finance, Bart has built a solid reputation for sourcing, executing, and managing complex transactions. He joined Tikehau Capital in 2018, where he spent seven years within the Private Debt platform, most recently as Executive Director. Based in the Benelux, he played a central role in origination and portfolio management across the region. Before Tikehau Capital, Bart spent approximately seven years at ING Bank across Corporate Finance and Leveraged Finance, before joining Eurofins Scientific to manage the group’s external financing activities.
