Amaury Daignes joins Argos Fund as an investor relations manager for France, Belgium and Luxembourg.

French Argos Fund has appointed Amaury Daignes to its investor relations team – headed up by partner Sophie Chateau – responsible for the firm’s investors in France, Belgium and Luxembourg, a cornerstone of its Climate Action and Mid-Market strategies.

“I am delighted to join Argos, a leading private equity platform in Europe. I look forward to building strong and long-term relationships with investors across France, Belgium and Luxembourg, and to contributing to the continued growth of the firm,” Amaury shares.

The fund’s rare combination of scale and culture is what drew Amaury to Argos, as well as its 35-year track record investing in European SMEs, €2.3 billion AUM across mid-market and climate action sectors, but most of all, its “deep expertise, high standards and genuine humanity”.

He brings over nine years’ experience in investor relations and fundraising within the private equity ecosystem. He spent the last five years at Audacia, where he launched the Institutional Investor Relations business unit, contributing to the firm’s development in France and internationally. He also led fundraising activities as part of the company’s venture capital, growth and real estate strategies.

Before this, he worked at Siparex, where he was responsible for relationships with large institutional accounts and the group’s fund-of-funds. Prior to that, he was an institutional investor relations officer at Truffle Capital for just over two years, involved in fundraising, marketing and tender processes.

Amaury holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from the University of Brighton and a master’s degree in international finance from ESCE.

“I am very pleased to welcome Amaury to the team. His experience across fundraising and investor coverage will be key as we continue to strengthen our relationships with investors in our core markets,” says Sophie.
