EY-Parthenon has appointed Antonino Gargiulo as a capital and debt advisory manager in its Belgium Strategy and Transactions team.
In his new role, Antonino Gargiulo will work alongside partners Tristan Dhondt, Ward Verdeyen and Marleen De Win to expand EY-Parthenon’s dedicated debt advisory practice across the Belgian market.
“I would also like to extend my gratitude to Tristan, Ward, and Marleen for your trust and confidence,” Antonino says. “I look forward to helping build the Debt Advisory practice in Belgium and collaborating with an exceptional team.”
Together, they support corporate clients, private equity sponsors and management teams through increasingly complex financing structures and capital-raising decisions. “I look forward to reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting many new ones along the way,” Anonino adds.
He spent the last three years with KBC Securities, where he developed a strong foundation in corporate finance, debt markets and transaction execution. Reflecting on his time at KBC, he highlights the mentorship and technical execution background that helped prepare him for his next step in advisory:
“I am grateful for the opportunities, inspiring colleagues, and valuable lessons learned during my time at KBC. It has been an amazing journey and a solid foundation for what lies ahead,” he explains. “A special thanks to Guy Wyn for his invaluable guidance, mentorship, and support over the years.”
Antonino also spent several years as a sales, private equity, corporate finance and management consulting intern at MSC Mediterranean Shipping, Terminal Investment Limited, Moore Belgium and Baker Tilly, respectively. He has two master's degrees, one in business economics (specialising in finance) and another in maritime economics (where he graduated as part of the top three percent).
His transition to EY-Parthenon comes at a time when capital structure optimisation, refinancing strategies and private debt solutions are becoming increasingly critical for Benelux companies navigating shifting macroeconomic conditions and evolving lending landscapes.
